Kitsap Real Estate Market Update May 2026
I’ll be honest, this has been one of the busiest months I can remember, and this update is later than I’d like to admit. I appreciate your patience! But it’s finally here, and there’s plenty to unpack in the Kitsap market right now.
The six-month median home price peaked in April, with May taking a slight dip.
On the flip side, homes are moving fast. The average days on market have dropped below 30 days in May, meaning if you’re buying, you’ll want to move quickly when you find the right place, and if you’re selling, well-priced and market-ready homes aren’t sitting around.
New listings also told an interesting story: activity peaked in April, hitting a six-month high, before easing slightly in May. So, while the pace has cooled just a touch, inventory is still healthier than it’s been in a while.
Let’s dig into the numbers below.
